dancer and choreographer from Benin, is the director,
lead choreographer and dancer of Gansango Music and
Dance. Etienne has been building his repertoire of

has worked in remote areas of Benin with international

This young folk is blind and makes money by playing
music to entertain travelers. All his drums are self-made
and cover a wide scale of drum beats. The microphone
glued to the harmonica broadcasts a FM signal that is
picked by an old radio hanging over the tree. All the
happy kids around are both spectators and performers.
This video was shot on July 2007 in Benin, on my way to

Le marché de Dantokpa à Cotonou est le plus grand marché

porter de lourdes charges, à la merci de n'importe quelle
