She was an educator, a mother, and a force that drove
the Democratic Party of Guam for many years, and she is
remembered today by her friends and loved ones.
Candelaria Rios died yesterday, and the island is
mourning her loss.
Rios was 77 years old and had 5 children.
GVB elects new members Descrição do Vídeo:
Four people have been elected to sit on the Guam
Visitor Bureau board of trustees. a general membership
meeting was held today at the Sheraton where members took
part in an election.
GVB general manager Gerry Perez says the it's important
that the right people are chosen to sit on the board,
after all they will be part of steering the islands
primary resource, the tourism industry:
Elected were Jim Beigly of DFS, Bruce Kloppenburg of
Kloppenburg Ent., Bart Jackson of the PIC, and Hayato
"Jack" Yoshino of Ken Corp. The term is for two years.
