The Double Club is three-in-one: a six-month
nightclub-cum-restaurant-cum-art installation conceived
by artist Carsten Höller, best known for his 2006 Test
Site installation at the Tate, and supported by the
Fondazione Prada, the fashion houses art foundation. An
Old Victorian warehouse has been revamped to showcase the
best of Western and Congolese culture, from food and
drink to art, including an Andy Warhol, no less, while
the slow-revolving dancefloor gives punters the complete
tour. Miucca Prada herself was among the suitably
eclectic guest list for the Double Clubs launch party
