This is my version of the popular idea of taking
Smallville to the next level, by permanently setting the
show in Metropolis and leaving Smallville behind, which
is more or less where the eight season is being taken. I
wanted to get Clark away from the flanel and t-shirts so
used ony Season Eight clips to emphasis how he is now
becoming the man behind the myth.
Note: the idea behind Dean Cain is the popular theory
that 'Curtis Knox' was the Smallville adaption of the
comic character Vandal Savage, an immortal criminal
mastermind and occasional thorn in Superman's side. Given
