Engineering TV: LEGO Education We Do Descrição do Vídeo:
From Engineering TV, LEGO Education WeDo powered by
LabVIEW, redefines classroom robotics, making it possible
for primary school students 711 years of age to build and
program their own solutions. Children invent their own
solution by building a LEGO model and programming it to
perform a certain task. Cause and effect learning is
enhanced by the models remaining tethered to a computer;
similar to scientists in working labs, children can test
and adjust their programming in real time. The complete
LEGO WeDo package includes: 158 LEGO elements (including
gears and levers), one motor, one m

From Engineering TV, The Mars Rover Project is one of the
efforts of the Purdue Engineering Projects in Community
Service (EPICS). The EPICS team has designed and built
this exhibit with its community partner, Imagination
Station-Black in Lafayette, Indiana. Applying new and
innovative technologies, the ISB team designs interactive
and fun exhibits for a local childrens museum. The Mars
Rover Project is an exhibit that allows students to
navigate a solar-powered rover wirelessly across a mock
Martian landscape to make geological discoveries. The

products are designed for high-volume, embedded control
and acquisition applications that require high
performance and reliability. Engineers and embedded
developers can use these real-time, single board
computers to get embedded systems with I/O to market
quickly. They integrate a real-time processor,
reconfigurable field-programmable gate array (FPGA), and
analog and digital I/O on a single board and are powered
by NI LabVIEW Real-Time and LabVIEW FPGA technologies.

Engineering TV: Testing the Wii with PXI Part 2 Descrição do Vídeo:
www.engineeringtv.com
From Engineering TV, Barron Stone and Chetan Kapoor have
conducted a teardown of the Nintendo Wii to test various
components using National Instruments LabVIEW and PXI
based modular instruments. In Part 2 of this Engineering
TV video, Barron discusses using the PXI-5114, a
high-speed digitizer, to test the Wii's video signals.
Using NIs patented T-Clock synchronization technology,
these digitizers can be synchronized to create systems of
up to 34 phase-synchronous 1 GS/s channels, or they can
be integrated with other NI hardware to build a complete,
automated mixed-s

Engineering TV: Testing the Wii with PXI Part1 Descrição do Vídeo:
www.engineeringtv.com
From Engineering TV, at NIWeek 2008, Barron Stone and
Chetan Kapoor chose the Nintendo Wii to demonstrate using
National Instruments technology to comprehensively test
complex electronic systems. Nintendo Wii is a next
generation gaming console that competes with the likes of
Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony Playstation 3. In this demo,
a Nintendo Wii was torn down to explore its inner
operations and understand how PXI based systems can be
used to comprehensively test its critical components.

Dos Pueblos Engineering Academy FIRST Team 1717 in Atlanta Descrição do Vídeo:

-academy-team-1717/
This video is the first in a series of videos I will be
releasing over the next couple of months related to my
trip to Atlanta for the 2008 FIRST Robotic Championship.
I took a lot of video there and I don't want it to sit on
my hard drive. Instead, I want to make sure the
enthusiasm, excitement and craziness of the competition
is shown so that new mentors can be motivated to help the
next generation of engineers and scientists waiting in
the wings.
