2008. This film is about masculinity in popular culture,

AvS CD Preview: Love and Pain (2003 solo-guitar)

One of my best solo-guitar CDs. This is a compilation
of popular love songs - arranged to tell the story of a
relationship, from beginning to end. Accompanying it is a
little story I put together, in animated 3D form.
The songs range from Elton John, The Bee Gees, Herb
Alpert, Billy Joel to Paul McCartney - a whole bunch of
stuff that I wouldn't normally be caught dead listening
to.
I hope viewers of all types find this enjoyable - even
though I pitch my acoustic and ballad playing mainly at
ladies (and one in particular, when I recorded this). Her
opinion of the CD was: "exquisite".

the thistles spent and bloomed now gone
reflected in the glass
the ancient patient ridges pause
with steadfast puzzled stare
the cows and me... the moonlight...
we're all that's really there
when break of day leans on the east
adventures cast aside
