This started off as mere eye candy to go along with
the untitled track in the background. I was, and still
am, experimenting with ways to make music that slowly
changes over time, but without resorting to using
randomizers. In this case, a single tone was recorded,
and looped at different playback speeds, creating a
chord, but with each note fading in and out at their own
pace. It's fairly subtle, drony, and even a bit boring,
but it does change enough over time not to end up
sounding like a straight loop.

I think it may actually be in a different key. E
maybe? But here's a cool way to play it. I hit a couple
of clunkers here and there but...
BTW - Drop D tuning is like standard tuning, but with the
low 'E' string dropped to 'D'. It is great for songs that
are in the key of D because you get a nice low, drony
sound that goes with all the chords.
