PH - K26 Joins K10 in Fixing Up Their Nest

K26 joins her mate, K10 in making multiple visits to
their Pelican Harbor bald eagle nest on Santa Cruz
Island, bringing in sticks and doing nestorations. Lots
of freezes & blackouts, but still got most of their
fly-ins & outs, including a couple really beautiful ones!
These eagles are part of the ongoing restoration project

Dog meets Pelican at the Santa Barbara boardwalk

Walking around the Santa Barbara boardwalk, I see
this cute doggy encountering this pelican. According to
the dog's owner, they are from Roswell, New Mexico and
the dog has never seen a pelican in her life and both the
dog and pelican were very curious of each other.

Fishing, nets, and pelicans Oh my

Okay so my family went up to see my aunt and uncle.
My uncle gave us a net fishing(have no idea what its
called) lesson, of course I don't like fishing so I
stayed to the side until the started making me handle the
fish and throwing them back. I got that job taken away
when a fish hit a boat. Whoops! Also, my mom and aunt
were distracted by a pelican that kept walking around.
