The Shannons - Born Too Late (1968)

One of my favourite recordings of all time! It's a
remake of the classic Poni-Tails hit from 1958, which is
also one of my favourite records. In fact, I have a hard
time picking between the two recordings. I love them both
so much! I feel the fade-out occurs too early on this
recording though, but wow, those sweet voices! I don't
know anything else about the Shannons besides the fact
that they sang beautifully. Did not chart, but released
as a single in 1968.

The Poni-Tails - Father Time (1959)

B-side of "Early to Bed". A fantastic single, with
both sides being so strong that I would have had a hard
time picking which one should be the a-side. This, like
the a-side is another one of my all-time favourite
recordings. As I mentioned on the other Poni-Tails videos
that I have posted, the Poni-Tails are one of my top 5
favourite girl groups.
