The Arimoroa Freigher Shipwreck lies in approximately
25 feet of water. This 260 foot Lebanese freighter is
also known as the Freighter Wreck, or the Egg Island
Wreck. While en route from South America to Europe, this
steel hulled vessel was run purposely aground in May of
1970. It is not known why, but a fire started in her
galley, and spread with such speed and fury that her
captain decided to save the crew by heading at full steam
toward the nearest visible land, Egg Island, Bahamas,
near Eleuthera. At the time of this unfortunate accident,
the Arimoroa was carrying a cargo of guano-b

Tribute to the 1st holy crusade

Song by Hammerfall - steel meets steel.
I'm not a christian and i don't believe in god, but i
love this episode of medieval history, so i decided to
tribute such an event as the first crusade, the best of
all crusades.
If you are a muslim this is in no way against you, just
take into account this happened a thousand years ago,
like 40 generations ago, and also that the crusaders
killed anyone on their way, muslim, jew or christian, so
it was rather a reckless massacre than a holy war.

ERNEST TUBB-A DRUNKARD S CHILD

Tubb was born on a cotton farm near Crisp, Texas (now
a ghost town in Ellis County, Texas). His father was a
sharecropper, so Tubb spent his youth working on farms
throughout the state. He was inspired by Jimmie Rodgers
and spent his spare time learning to sing, yodel, and
play the guitar. At the age of nineteen, he took a job as
a singer on a San Antonio radio station. The pay was low,
so Tubb also dug ditches for the Works Progress
Administration and then clerked at a drug store. In 1939
he moved to San Angelo, Texas and was hired to do a 15
minute afternoon live show on radio station K
